 Qingming Festival is a traditional Chinese festival on the 106th day after the winter solstic (22th,December),occurring on April 4 (leap years) or April 5 (other years) of the Gregorian calendar. It marks the middle of spring and above all, a sacred day of the dead,it has more than 2,000 years of history and is the unique festival also a solar term of 24 solar terms.
 After Qingming Festival,rainfall gradually increasesand this season every things get rid of the stale and take in the fresh, whether it is the natural vegetation, or human coexist with nature,throw the dirty of last winter, ushered in a breath of spring, from the transformation of Yin to Yang(the two opposing principles in nature).
 At Qingming Festival,most people go to visit a grave of the dead people.After the founding of New China,many people go to  martyrs tomb to cherish the memory of revolutionaries at Qingming Festival and we usually fly kites in the daytime,but on that day，in some places, people fly kites at night. How can they see their kites at night? They tie some little lights to the kites.It is said that in this way people will also be protected from bad luck and disease.Two years ago,people have three-day holiday for this festival.
