Beijing Miyun Reservoir
Miyun Reservoir is in Miyun District in Beijing, it is located in Yanshan peaks, and across two rivers.The reservoir is the largest artificial lake in Asia, the “Pearl Yanshanian” known. Reservoir covers an area of 33.6 mu, 4.38 billion cubic meters capacity, the deepest area is more than 60 meters. It is the main source of water for civilian and industrial use. The average summer temperature in the reservoir area is lower than the urban area 3 ℃, is a summer resort.
