Today,it is Dragon Boat Festival in China,it is a traditional and has a long history of 2000 years old.
From 2008,Dragon Boat Festival is approved for the National Holiday,the government attach great importance to the protection of intangible cultural heritage.now,people can rest for one day at this holiday.
Dragon Boat Festival has a lot of consuetudes, such as eating Zongzi(a pyramid-shaped dumpling of glutinous rice), dragon boat racing, drink realgar wine, and so on, but because many of the activities by objective factors,in the city is the most common custom is to eat Zongzi, it is a very unique Chinese food, people use leaves wrap rice,with some filling in, including a three-dimensional triangle, it is a strong seasonal food, in addition to the Dragon Boat Festival, people rarely eat the rest of the time.
